Lemon Juice & Apple Cider Vinegar – Drink This EVERY Morning!

Apple cider vinegar & Lemon juice morning drink.

In this video Lee Hayward talks about the benefits of drinking apple cider vinegar mixed with lemon juice daily, one of the things he points out we think is worth taking note of is that the method requires the ACV & Lemon drink to be the first thing you put into your body each day. To us this makes a lot of sense and it will set up your stomach for the day. Rather than cramming it full of food that will need acid production to be broken down properly the acids within the lemon and vinegar will help with your digestion when it does come to eating your first meal.

Hey there how’s it going? Its your mussel building coach Lee Hayward here, and in this video we are going to be learning how to make a simple drink that you can have every single morning that will hydrate your body, detoxify and alkalize it and just get your day started off on the right track.

What is it? Well it’s simply a concoction of apple cider vinegar and a lemon water mix. So, what we have here is some raw apple cider vinegar. This is not the regular store bought brand or anything like that this is the organic raw apple cider vinegar “with mother.” So when your shopping around make sure you’re getting the real deal, this stuff is typically found in health food stores or the health section of your supermarket. If you’re having trouble tracking down a local supplier I would recommend a quick google search as there are a lot of places online that sell good quality ACV at competitive prices.

With the lemon water, you can chop up lemons and squeeze them and juice them and all that stuff, but I’m lazy so I’m going to use concentrated lemon juice, and it’s basically the same thing. Now we are going to mix all this stuff up in a glass of water, very easy, very simple. First give them lemon juice a good shake and then add two tablespoons of the lemon juice to your glass of 8 ounces of water. Next we do the same thing with the vinegar putting two tablespoons into your water/lemon juice mixture.

Now that’s it, it’s that simple. All you have to do is drink this every single morning as the first thing you put in your body to help get your day started off right. Now you’re probably wondering how something that is so acid such as vinegar and lemon juice could actually be alkalizing. Well you are right in thinking that outside of the body both these substances are highly acidic but once consumed and within the body both become alkaline forming meaning your body doesn’t have to produce any acid to digest it and utilize it. If you consume foods like bread or meat or anything like that, your stomach has to the produce acid to digest those foods, that’s why they are acid forming where as these products used in our morning drink are in fact alkaline forming.

Give this a try for the next week and see how it makes you feel, simply make sure the first thing you put in your body each day is this natural health drink and see how it makes you feel.

I put 4 ounces of lemon juice and 2 ounces of ACV in a picture of water and drink it each day.

Excellent tip! Especially emphasizing the organic ACV with ‘the mother’.
Have you tried adding a dash of cayenne pepper to the mix each morning? Foodbabe suggested that idea: stimulates the immune system, though she only had lemon juice and cayenne pepper. Great idea to add the ACV.

  3. my father in law started doing this recently, and he loves it.

  4. I typically start each morning with fresh lemon juice squeezed into water, I’ve tried the cayenne pepper route, but don’t do it anymore, it’s a little harsh for me first thing in the morning. But, I’ve never tried the addition of ACV, I happen to have the “good stuff” in my pantry right now, will give it a try in the a.m. as I’m always looking for ways to get my innards feeling better, thanks for the tip!

    Hi Lee,
I’m already drinking warm lemon water each morning. Can I just add the Apple Cider Vinegar to the warm water or does it have to be cold?
I also drink 1 teaspoon of Sole water. Will it have some effects ? And which one should I drink first??

Thanks for the tip and the apple demo !! Awesome

I saw Tony Robbins talking about this a while back and got into the habit. I must admit I didn’t feel any different but it does make sense. Fell out of the habit, so this has prompted me to fall back in again. Thanks. :)

I did this several days in a row and lost like a pound a day. Gonna keep doing it. Thank you.

  13. Roz Stevens says:

Hi I’ve been drinking fresh lemons squeezed in water for over a year and find it palatable, however I have just stared adding ACV and find the taste really sour – is it okay to add honey or molasses to the mix? Thanks
