Apple cider vinegar is a natural wonder tonic. I’m going to share with you guys a very simple recipe that you have scope to play around with yourself.
What will you need?
The recipe calls for 10 to 12 mushroom caps and a bottle of apple cider vinegar. It’s also worth noting that this recipe takes around 4 hours but a lot of this time is just spent waiting for the marinade to work its magic. Another thing you will need for this recipe is a glass jar with a lid.
Step 1: Add half a cup of apple cider vinegar to your glass jar.
Step 2: Next we add about a quarter of a cup of extra virgin olive oil and mix these two ingredients together well.
Step 3: Next we look a seasoning and I normally add around a tablespoon of sea salt and a few dashes of good quality black pepper.
Step 4: This step is optional but I can work well to add a little cayenne pepper to the mixture, this stuff has loads of health properties and adds a great tangy flavor.
That’s our marinade completed, all we need to do now is add the mushrooms and give them time to soak up all the great flavors. I tend to give the marinade around 4 – 5 hours giving the mushrooms enough time to fully absorb all the great tasting ingredients.
These can then be used to top a salad or stuffed and used as a starter for your main meal.
